Eaton Vance Distributors of Boston, the broker/dealer subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., has promoted William Gillen to national sales director of both the independent/financial institution and brokerage sales groups. He was previously national sales manager of the independent/financial institution sales group.
Eaton Vance has also promoted three other executives and hired a fourth sales executive. Perry Hooker is now regional sales director for the east coast for independent/financial institution sales. Joseph Nelson now holds the same title for the west coast. And Michael Foster is now regional sales director for the east coast for brokerage sales. Eaton Vance has also hired Ira Baron, formerly with Prudential Securities of Newark, N.J., as regional sales director for the west coast for brokerage sales.
Krista Lindberg has been promoted to vice president of marketing at Ariel Capital Management of Chicago. In this new role, Lindberg will concentrate on financial advisors and separate account wrap programs, and products aimed at high-net-worth individuals.
Susan Ferris Wyderko has been promoted from general counsel to director of the SEC's office of investor education and assistance.
