Philippe Bibi has been named senior managing director and chief technology officer of Putnam Investments. Previously, Bibi served as managing director and head of investments and technology at Enron Corp. in Houston.
Richard Horlick has been appointed president of Fidelity Management Trust Company. Horlick was promoted from Fidelity International Limited in London where he was president of the international institutional business.
Scott Sipple, John Gagliano, and Catherine Wood have joined the management team of Regent Investor Services, a division of Alliance Capital. Sipple, currently a senior VP responsible for global mutual fund product management at Alliance, will become Regent's managing director. Gagliano, a regional sales manager for the broker dealer division of Alliance's mutual fund business, will become Regent's national sales manager. And Wood, who is senior vice president and portfolio manager at Alliance, will retain those responsibilities in addition to that of chief investment officer at regent.
Richard Talley has been named VP of global alternative investments of PFPC in Wilmington, Del. Talley was most recently VP, sales and marketing, for LIVETRADE.com in Garden City, N.Y. Gerald Winchester has also joined PFPC as VP of new business development. Previously, Winchester was manager of strategic business development for Q.E.D Information Systems in Marlton, N.J.
Denis Bovin has joined the board of directors at BISYS of Little Falls, N.J. Bovin is vice chairman of investment banking and senior managing director of Bear Stearns & Co.
