INVESCO Goes Purely Load

INVESCO Funds Group announced today that it is turning almost all of its funds into purely load products. Beginning March 1, the firm will add A and B class shares to its products at a time when investors are seeking financial advice more than ever.

"For some time now, the fastest growing segment of our business has been the broker/adviser channel, with virtually all of our new net flows coming from financial advisors," said Ray Cunningham, president of INVESCO, in a statement.

The change does not apply to existing retail shareholders, so current INVESCO customers can continue to buy and sell shares on a no-load basis, according to the company. The only INVESCO Funds excluded from the change are INVESCO’s variable investment and Treasurer’s Series funds.
