Investors Financial Services Announces Changes

Fund custodian and administrative services firm Investors Financial Services Corp. has promoted Michael Rogers to president and named John Spinney CFO, replacing Karen Keenan who will step down Jan.1, 2002, to spend time with her family. Keenan is expecting a child sometime early next year, the company said.

Rogers has been with the firm 20 years and has been in charge of its operating areas since 1990. Prior to that, Rogers was vice president of at the Bank of New England before Investors Financial acquired the bank’s Financial Products Services Division in 1990.

Spinney joins Investors Financial from KPMG where he was an audit and client service partner for financial service companies and asset managers. Spinney will begin with the firm Sept. 1 and transition into the position by the beginning of next year. Keenan will take on a consulting role with the firm.
