Financial services firm Janney Montgomery Scott has promoted Steven Rivera to the position of satellite branch manager based out of the firm’s Hauppauge, N.Y., office.

Rivera previously served as vice president of investments in the Hauppauge office. He has been registered with Janney since November 1991, according to his public registration records with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
In his new role, Rivera reports to Patrick Maas, senior vice president and complex manager based in Garden City, N.Y.
