Janus CFO, General Counsel Stepping Down

Janus announced this week that both the company’s chief financial officer and general counsel will leave March 2. The company also said that the departures of Dave Martin and John Bluher are unrelated.

Senior Vice President and Comptroller Greg Frost will replace Martin, who plans to work outside of Denver.

Kelley Howes, the senior vice president and general counsel of the Janus Capital Management subsidiary, will replace Bluher.

Janus Capital Group CEO Gary Black noted that the company is in good shape, having repurchasd more than 25 million shares of its stock last year.
