Jersey Auto Parts Supplier To Launch Mutual Fund

Two brothers who own a New Jersey auto parts business as well as an investment advisory company called Emerald Research Corporation, will offer a new value-oriented product called the NorthQuest Capital Fund, according to a Dec. 31 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund will invest in domestic stocks that post year-to-year gains but are deemed undervalued, according the prospectus. It will charge management fees of 1%, with gross expenses of 2.75%.

Peter Lencki, who with his brother, Walter, own Emerald Auto Parts and Supply, will serve as president of the NorthQuest Capital Fund, the prospectus said. Walter Lencki owns 15% of Emerald Research Corp. Neither men could be reached for comment and no Web sites representing the investment-related aspects of the business could be found on the Internet.
