J.P. Morgan/American Century Retirement Plan Services and Towers Perrin have formed a strategic alliance to offer an array of retirement services, the companies announced this week.

The partnership will blend J.P. Morgan’s defined contribution services with Perrin’s defined benefit administration and accounting business as well as investment strategy from JPMorgan Flemming Asset Management and American Century Investments.

The companies plan to bundle the services and provide them in a combined entity, said Bob Hogan, a managing director at Towers Perrin.

J.P. Morgan/American Century has already established similar partnerships with TBG Financial and Mellon Investor Services. The company also provides investment advice through Financial Engines.
