JPMorgan Asset Management has hired Richard Gray as managing director and institutional client advisor, based in New York and focused primarily on corporate defined benefit plans and public fund retirement plan clients. This is a new position reporting to Andrea Lisher, East Team Lead for Institutional Advisory Sales at JPMorgan Asset Management.
Gray was most recently a managing director at Ramius LLC, the global alternative investment management business of Cowen Group, where he was responsible for business development and client relationship management for hedge fund investors, as well as product management for internally managed hedge funds.
“With more than 25 years in the financial services industry, Rich brings a broad investment experience and deep sales background that will greatly complement our team’s efforts,” stated Lisher.
