KD Investments, the Slovak-based asset management unit of Slovenian financial company KD Group, has launched an equity mutual fund that will invest in companies in the former Soviet Union, reports See News.

The new fund, called KD Russia, will invest mainly in shares of big Russian companies with high market capitalization. The fund will also invest in Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and some other countries of the former Soviet Union.
