Lipper has reached an agreement with Zacks.com and Data Broadcasting Corp. to create a Web Mutual Fund Center that will merge Lipper's data with Zacks.com's research. Lipper, of New York, will supply data and analysis to the center which Zacks.com will distribute to its network of more than 700 web sites. Zacks.com, based in Chicago, provides investment research to institutional investors. Data Broadcasting, a provider of instantaneous market data based in Torrance, Calif., is building the infrastructure to support the new venture.
