Long-Term Funds Lose $3.25 Billion

Long-term funds had outflows of $3.25 billion for the week ended Dec. 8, the Investment Company Institute said.

Equity funds had outflows of $1.4 billion, with U.S. equity funds losing $2.67 billion and foreign equity funds taking in $1.27 billion.

Investors redeemed $191 million from hybrid funds, and another $1.66 billion from bond funds. Taxable bond funds saw outflows of $401 million, and municipal bond funds had outflows of $1.26 billion
