Long-Term Funds Lose $9.24 Billion in Latest Week

Long-term mutual funds were hit with $9.24 billion in redemptions in the week ended Nov. 30, the Investment Company Institute said.

Equity funds had outflows of $9.63 billion for the week ended Nov. 30, up considerably from $3.74 billion in outflows the previous week.

Domestic equity funds has outflows of $6.67 billion for the week, while outflows from international stock funds were also high, at $2.96 billion.

Investors redeemed $778 million from hybrid funds, down from outflows of $1.42 billion the previous week.

Bond funds took in $1.16 billion, down from their $6.53 of inflows the previous week. Taxable bond funds saw inflows of $709 million, and municipal bond funds had inflows of $449 million.
