Manulife/Hancock Merger Complete

The merger between Manulife Financial Corp. and John Hancock Financial Services has been completed. John Hancock, which last traded at $43.75 on April 28, is no longer listed as JHF on the New York Stock Exchange.

John Hancock stock holders are entitled to 1.1853 Manulife shares for each of the approximately 650,000 common stock shares. The completion of the merger makes Manulife the largest insurer in Canada, the second-largest in North America, and the fifth-largest in the world.
