MassMutual Adds Push E-Mails to DB, DC Plans

MassMutual Financial has added push e-mails to its defined contribution and defined benefit services.

MassMutual will provide plan sponsors and third-party administrators with updated and relevant information about participants in their plans – information such as updated contribution files, a list of eligible employees, notification when a participant requests a loan and a forewarning when information is missing. The information will be formatted in a way that employers can download it either to an Excel or Access file for further analysis.

"Push e-mail is just one of the new user-friendly features in our fully integrated online technology solution for both DC and DB plan sponsors," said Frederick C. Castellani, executive vice president and head of MassMuutal Retirement Services. "With our cutting-edge online infrastructure, sponsors can now do everything from request participant-level and plan summary reports to monitor delinquent loans, review plan highlights and upload files."
