MetaMorphix Elects ReidTo Chair JPMorgan Funds

MetaMorphix has elected Fergus Reid as chairman of the JP Morgan/Chase Mutual Funds. Reid is currently the chairman and CEO of Lumelite Corp., a privately owned, plastics manufacturing company. Reid began his career with Roosevelt & Son, rising through the ranks to president and CEO.

When the firm merged with Kidder Peabody, Reid left to join Clark Dodge & Co. as the chairman of its fixed income group, after which, he had a brief stint with Rockefeller Family and Associates.

Reid went on to become the managing director of Bernhard Associates before acquiring Lumelite.
