Metropolitan West Gets New CEO

Los Angeles-based financial holding company Metropolitan West Financial has hired Robert Shustak as its CEO. He is expected to begin work at the company in March. 

Shustak previously served as president of Quantitative Financial Strategies in Stamford, Conn. Between 1993 and 1999 he was a principal and CFO at Long Term Capital Management. 

In addition, he spent nine years at Solomon Brothers, where he eventually worked as a VP and group manager. And he was assistant treasurer for New York-based J. Henry Schroder Bank and Trust.
