Morgan Stanley [MS] hired a new co-head of global leveraged and acquisition finance who will begin working at the investment bank next week, a source familiar with the bank confirmed.
The bank hired former HSBC leveraged and acquisition finance leader Dan Toscano, who will lead its global leveraged and acquisition finance group with Gene Martin. Toscano left HSBC last year and has also served with Deutsche Bank.
Toscano will begin his tenure at Morgan Stanley on Monday and will report to Raj Dhanda, head of global capital markets.
