Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has expanded its California financial advisor force with eight new hires from Wells Fargo Advisors and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
In Palo Alto, Calif., Judy Keng and Sue Teng have joined from Wells Fargo Advisors. Together, they operate under the name Keng Teng Team, and previously oversaw $162 million in client assets and had $1.63 million in annual fees and commissions.
In addition, Shao Te has also joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Palo Alto from Wells Fargo Advisors. Te previously had $105 million in client assets under management and $1.28 million in annual fees and commissions.
In San Jose, Calif., Jack Wong and Darryl Ng also join from Wells Fargo Advisors, and operate under the name Wong Ng Team. Together, Wong and Ng previously oversaw $289 million in client assets and had $3.15 million in fees and commissions.
In Newport Beach, Calif., William Bullock and Gayle Bullock, the Bullock Group, has joined from Bank of America Merrill Lynch. They previously had $231 million in client assets under management and $2.43 million in annual production.
Brandon Hunt also joins the firm in Newport Beach from Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Hunt previously oversaw $91 million in client assets and had $1.01 million in production.
