Morgan Stanley Hires Four Advisors From UBS, Ameriprise

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has expanded its advisor force with the addition of four new advisors from UBS AG and Ameriprise Financial Inc.

In Pepper Pike, Ohio, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has hired UBS financial advisors Shawn Liebel and Kevin Forney. Together, they had $1.53 million in fees and commissions and $211 million in assets under management. They have been registered with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney since May 5, according to FINRA records, and report to branch manager Robert Hartmann.

In Tampa, Fla., Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has added Ameriprise advisors Robert Coloret and Mark Delmar. They previously had $1.2 million in fees and commissions and $107 million in assets under management. Coloret and Delmar have been registered with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney since May 6, FINRA records show. They report to branch manager Jacob Heron.

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney reported a total financial advisor head count of about 17,800 in its first quarter earnings report last month.
