Gary Lynch, a vice chairman at Morgan Stanley in London, will be leaving the firm, according to an internal memo obtained Friday.
The memo was issued by Morgan Stanley’s chief executive James Gorman and it was sent out to company employees on Friday.
According to the memo, Lynch has “decided to leave and pursue opportunities outside the firm.”
Between 2005 and 2010, Lynch was Morgan Stanley’s chief legal officer. He has been a vice chairman at Morgan Stanley since May 2009.
