Investment research firm Morningstar announced that Cheryl Francis has been elected to its board of directors.
She was executive vice president and financial chief of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. from 1995 to 2000. Before that, Francis was a vice president and treasurer at FMC Corp. She also has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Francis currently serves as head of the audit committees for the boards of directors of Hewitt Associates, a human resources outsourcing and consulting firm, and HON Industries, a producer of office furniture and hearth equipment
