It was unclear why Burge left the firm. "We didnt discuss the reason for his leaving," said Martha Conlin Moss, a spokeswoman. "Were not sure where he is now."
The position has remained vacant for nearly a year, Conlin Moss said, because the company was "just looking for the right person."
Boudos, who joined Morningstar in 1992, has a diverse history with the company. She was a VP of human resources, overseeing recruitment and employee benefits. She also headed the companys ClearFutures unit, which developed an online advice portal for investors. In addition, she helped develop Morningstars first Web site.
