MUFG Union Bank names private wealth management exec
MUFG Union Bank has named a head of private wealth management for its northern California and Pacific Northwest region.
The $116 billion-asset bank named Lisa Roberts to the new role, effective Monday. She is based in the company's headquarters city of San Francisco and reports to Michael Feldman, its chief of wealth markets.
Roberts previously worked at Freestone Capital Management, a wealth management firm. She has also worked for Bank of America as a managing director at its U.S. Trust unit; at Citi Private Bank as a regional executive for northern California; and at Wells Fargo as a senior regional trust manager.
The executive has added 15 new advisers this year and plans to add 15 more by the end of 2016, bringing the total broker force to 130.
The San Francisco bank has snagged three advisers from City National Bank and Wells Fargo and added them to the team in California.
