XShares Advisors on Tuesday launched five new exchange-traded funds that focus on healthcare, life science and biotechnology, which are trading on the New York Stock Exchange, Reuters reports.
The five funds are: the HealthShares Cardio Devices Exchange Traded Fund, the Diagnostics ETF, the Emerging Cancer ETF, the Enabling Technologies ETF and the Patient Care Services ETF.

XShares said the funds will invest in no more than 20 to 25 stocks, taking a “vertical” approach to sector investing.

Bill Kridel, the company’s CEO, explained that the approach is meant to be precise.

Two other related ETFs XShares is planning will focus on the central nervous system and autoimmune-inflammation.
