More than 200 fund managers and over 1,000 mutual funds will be available in the database, as will 150,000 retirement plans. The company says it is one of the largest online databases ever invented for searching investment vehicles.
The company is excited about the new program's sort features, like zip code and state searches that can hook retirement plan-seekers in with geographical-friendly alternatives.
The cost of the service, FreeERISA.com said, will depend on which database the user operates. It is the latest addition to the four-year-old Web site, which started small-time but now claims to have 215,000 users and 2.7 million monthly page views.
