The following open-end funds were recently registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission:
* Williams Capital Management has filed to launch the Williams Capital Liquid Assets fund. The taxable money market fund will be sub-advised by Milestone Capital Management. The fund's expense ration will be 0.2% for institutional shares and 0.45% for service shares. Milestone will receive a 10 basis point management fee. The minimum investment for institutional shares is $10 million and $50,000 for service shares.
* Credit Suisse Asset Management has filed to launch the Credit Suisse Short Duration Bond fund. The fund will invest 80% of its assets in corporate and government bonds with durations of between one to three years. The fund, which will offer only A-shares, will charge a maximum upfront load of 4.75% and will charge a 25 basis point 12b-1. Credit Suisse will collect a 40 basis point management fee and the fund will accept minimum investments of $2,500. The fund will be managed by Gregg Diliberto, Jo Ann Corkan, Leland Crabbe and Jose Rodriquez.
