New Portfolio Manager for Andor

A poor showing has forced Connecticut-based Andor Capital Management to fire portfolio manager David Felman from its Diversified Growth Fund and replace him with founding partner Chris James, the company said.

Andor, which has $8.2 billion assets under management, will also put James in charge of Felman’s Andor Diversified Growth Perennial fund, which will be closed on March 1, 2004.

The Diversified Growth Fund is down 17.5% this year while the liquidating Diversified Growth Perennial Fund is down 21.5%.

Andor, which was founded in 2001, will now have James and co founder Dan Benton as co-portfolio managers for all the company’s funds.
