New Program Offers Bank Distribution

Federated Investors, JP Morgan Chase and Nations Funds will offer their funds through a new Web-based program that distributes products to commercial clients of banks, thrifts and credit unions, FinancialOxygen, the technology firm that launched the product, said today.

The program, called BankOxygen, will allow independent financial institutions to private label the funds. The program, which was launched in October, has been used by institutions to execute more than $1billion in fund transactions, the firm said.

The new program offers the fund companies another source of distribution and allows banks to expand their product lines using their own private labels, said Robert Oxenburgh, CEO of FinancialOxygen.
