Three out of four Hispanics are "very concerned" about their financial fitness, so State Farm and the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) have put together a video addressing planning issues in English and Spanish.
The video, entitled "Securing Your Familys Future: A Personal Financial Guide for Latinos," is also accompanied by a workbook and will be available in September through State Farm agents and NCLR affiliates.
State Farm is well positioned to serve the Hispanic community because it is has so many offices across the country and emphasizes its role within communities, said Jack Weekes, vice president of marketing. "We can help provide this educational tool at the local level. State Farm is committed to the Hispanic community because we are a part of the community."
NCLR is a not-for-profit organization that works to reduce poverty and discrimination, and improve life opportunities for Hispanics.
