New VP Oversees GoldK's Institutional Accounts

GoldK, an online retirement plan provider, announced the hiring of Brian C. McGillicuddy as vice president of institutional implementation, a newly created position. In this role McGillicuddy will lead a project-management team responsible for placing the retirement-plan assets of major clients onto the GoldK platform. He will report to Charlie Hunt, vice president of project management for the firm.

"Over the past few months, we have seen a rapid increase in interest among institutional partners looking to convert or outsource large blocks of their existing retirement business and those looking to establish new plans," said Don Wallroth, the company's operating chief. "Brian and his group will be responsible for the entire process of smoothly integrating these plans onto our platform."

McGillicuddy, who has more than 20 years of experience in the retirement industry, joins the firm from BISYS Retirement Services, where he was a vice president on the institutional relationship management team. Prior to that, he was a vice president in the retirement unit of Fidelity Investments, where he managed plan-conversion projects of up to $200 million of new assets.
