The National Investment Company Service Association made a donation to the FT Fiduciary Trust Memorial Fund yesterday, on behalf of the organization’s members.

NICSA chairman Gary French presented a check yesterday for $10,000 to Penny Alexander, head of transfer agent administration for Franklin Templeton Investments, at NICSA’s 20 th annual operations conference in Miami. Fiduciary Trust is a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton.

Franklin lost one employee and FT Fiduciary Trust lost 86 in the terrorist attacks of Sept 11, Alexander said.

The memorial fund, which is designed to aid the families and employees affected by the World Trade Center tragedy, has already raised $4 million from Franklin Templeton employees and $2 million from a company match, Alexander said.
