Nomura Securities has begun using a mobile application for asset managers from Nomura Research Institute.
The Japanese investment bank has implemented the Advisor Platform Mobile Option, an application that provides advisors with remote access to client information, Nomura Research Institute announced Monday. The application provides mobile access to Nomura's Advisor Platform and permits synchronization with the bank's in-house system.
"Providing mobile support for the Advisor Platform is a testament to our continued commitment to delivering high-touch services and innovation to the financial markets," Yasuki Okai, the manager of Nomura Research Institute's financial technology division, said in a news release. "We anticipate that the Mobile Option will enhance consultation capabilities at Nomura Securities and ultimately create more efficiency."
