Northern Trust Global Investments has appointed Daniel Sperrazza director of fixed income research and Timothy Frechette director of fixed income trading.
Sperrazza formerly served as director of fixed income research at Fleet Investment Advisors, where his responsibilities ranged from chief credit officer for the institutional and trust businesses to overseeing money market and book value funds. Frechette also was director of fixed income trading at Fleet. As well, he also managed two pooled mortgage-backed portfolios there.
Prior to Fleet, Sperrazza was director of corporate finance at Aetna Life and Casualty Co.
Earlier in his career, Frechette was vice president, institutional sales and fixed income, at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.
