Nuveen Selects State Street for Custody, Fund Accounting

Nuveen Investments has selected State Street Corp. to provide custody and fund accounting and Boston Financial Data Services, a jointly owned subsidiary of State Street and DST Systems, to provide transfer agency and shareholder services for Nuveen’s family of 130 funds.

Steve Foy, a vice president with Nuveen, said his company selected State Street because of its ability to support both closed-end exchange traded funds and traditional mutual funds.

"We are extremely pleased to have been selected by Nuveen," said Jay Hooley, executive vice president of State Street. "Nuveen’s complex administration requirements were an ideal match with our full-service capabilities [for] a one-stop solution."
