Oculus To Launch New Unit

Cartersville, GA-based Oculus Partners, LLC, a research and consulting shop founded in 2008 by Cynthia Hayes, is expanding its service offerings and has made a new hire to support its expansion, Money Management Executive has learned.

Specifically, Oculus has hired David Hayes, formerly a senior vice president at Columbus, GA Delta Data Software, Inc., which provides software products for the automation of back-office mutual fund and securities processing, as executive vice president, focused on overall strategic planning role.

“He will play an overall strategic planning role as well as bringing his wealth of process, infrastructure, and technology experience to open up a new practice area for us,” according to Hayes, who previously served as a managing director in Merrill Lynch’s retirement unit.

“This will enable us to offer more complete solutions to our consulting clients. In addition it will enable us to build new product solutions for our markets.”

Oculus’ defined contributions services include product development (i.e. plan design, trust and investment services, recordkeeping and administration services, employee communications services); retirement income products (insured and non-insured) and retirement cash flow management services. Its clients include Charles Schwab, Vanguard, Fidelity and T. Rowe Price.
