LPL Financial, the nation's largest independent broker-dealer, has named David Reich as executive vice president of retirement platform development. Reich will continue to build out the firm's retirement platform, rolling out new services and technology and furthering the integration of technology platforms used by LPL advisors to support their retirement plan business. Reich was vice president and general manager for retirement strategies at Ameriprise Financial.

 


 

National Advisors Trust has named Robert Kaspar of the Windsor Group to serve as its new chairman. The Overland Park, Kan.-based firm also named a trio of new appointees to its board of directors, and reelected a fourth. The new directors are Steven Palmer of Atwood & Palmer, H. Chandler Taylor of Moneta Group and Charles Clapp III of Howland Capital. Kirk Hudson of Universal Advisory Services was reelected. They'll serve three-year terms.

 


 

Neuberger Berman Group has named Leah Modigliani as a senior vice president and multiasset strategist, a newly created position. Previously, Modigliani was an independent investment strategist who advised non-profits, foundations and endowments on portfolio construction and management. She had also been an executive director and research strategist in Morgan Stanley's research department.
