The portal, called Vision, allows advisors to view several account statements from different fund families in one location. The service also allows advisors to buy and sell funds from the portal.
Approximately 15,000 advisors use the Vision portal, according to DST.
By offering information and data about its funds on Vision, Oppenheimer will be able to meet advisors demands for a greater amount of information, according to Andrew Ruotolo, OppenheimerFunds Services CEO. "Our customer base is eagerly anticipating OppenheimerFunds participation in Vision," he said in a statement. "The availability for our clients to choose Vision, will be a terrific fit with our strategy of offering a range of options to obtain account information whenever, wherever and however they chose."
