Mutual funds experienced outflows of $4.89 billion for week ended Tuesday, July 2, according to theInvestment Company Institute.
Domestic equity funds had estimated outflows of $2.08 billion, while estimated inflows to world equity funds were $2.31 billion.
Bond funds stemmed their losses to $5.97 billion, compared to $28.23 billion during the previous week.
Hybrid funds had estimated inflows of $851 million for the week, compared to estimated outflows of $593 million in the previous week.
