Pacific Life Wins Award for Retirement Education Materials

Pacific Life was chosen as the winner of the 2012 Retirement Income Client Education Award for its comprehensive material that financial advisors can use with prospective clients.

The company was lauded for the quality and presentation of its content, as well as sophisticated online and video components.

Honorable mentions were given to Securities America and Raymond James.

The award winners, chosen by the editors of Financial Planning, On Wall Street and Bank Investment Consultant, which comprise SourceMedia’s investment advisor group, were announced at the Retirement Income Industry Association as part of its annual conference Thursday and Friday in Boston.

Bruce Morris, executive vice president and managing director of SourceMedia’s professional services group, who announced the awards at the RIIA conference, noted that the judges commended the way Pacific Life, through video, demonstrated how its Nautilus online retirement planning tool presented information in an appealing way. The printed material made the company’s resources valuable without being dense, Morris added.

Christine Tucker, Pacific Life' vice president of marketing, accepted the award on behalf of Pacific Life Retirement Solutions Division.
