PFPC, a full-service mutual fund transfer agent and a company in the PNC Financial Services Group, has named James McCoy vice president and director of sales and marketing for the firm's managed accounts division.
PFPC's managed accounts division is responsible for the development and marketing of AssetDirections, PFPC's online managed account platform for financial intermediaries. McCoy will assist the firm's AssetDirections team.
McCoy joins PFPC from FOLIOfn, where he served as vice president of product development. At FOLIOfn, he managed the development of a separate account management product geared towards investment advisers and brokers. He was previously director of e-commerce services at BISYS Fund Services, where he helped develop mutual fund managed account and e-commerce based products for fund companies, banks and brokerage firms.
