PFPC Expands Operations in Ireland

PFPC International, a Dublin-based provider of fund accounting and administration services, said today that it will open a new office in County Wexford, Ireland.

The new office, the companys second in the country, will provide accounting, shareholder services, trustee and custody services for offshore funds. The firm is a unit of PFPC Inc .

"By opening a second office in Ireland, we strengthen our ability to remain responsive to the increased interest from fund companies in Europe and elsewhere around the world," said Joan Kehoe, the firms managing director, in a statement.

The company services 151 portfolios with $20.8 billion in assets. It also serves as a transfer agent and provides shareholder services to 280 portfolios.
