PFPC Tuesday announced a new open architecture data repository and analytics suite that can integrate information from a variety of sources, including transfer agent, sub-accounting, brokerage and other third-party system. Designed to allow for a single reporting system, the program allows users to merge data from these disparate sources to generate compliance reports or to cull information to create marketing campaigns.
The program, which runs on a PFPC server, includes a drag-and-drop functionality to make it easy for users to create reports without the need for a programmer. A data dictionary enables users to find data elements, and a data mart allows users to customize data views.
"This is a fine example of PFPCs ability to offer comprehensive and personalized solutions through the open, flexible technology of our Global Enterprise Platform," said Timothy G. Shack, president and chief executive officer of PFPC. "Clients need no longer scour through all of their recordkeeping information to make informed business decisions. Through our open architecture, clients can immediately access the specific information they need to target market segments and expand distribution capabilities.
