Principal Exec Elected President of Pension Group

Gersie to Head National Institute of Pension Administrators

Ann Gersie, VP of retirement and investor services for the Principal Financial Group, has been elected president of the National Institute of Pension Administrators.

The Chicago-based organization provides educational programs for those in the retirement planning industry. The group has more than 600 members.

Gersie started her career with Prudential in 1973 as a plan administrator. She currently leads the company's dynamic market segment, which serves defined contribution plans.
