Putnam Offers New Retirement Products

Putnam Investments has unveiled a set of retirement products designed to help investors with asset allocation.

The Retirement Choice portfolios help plan sponsors and advisers diversify their customers’ savings, the company said.

Participants select one of several predesigned portfolios according to their risk tolerance. Putnam evaluates investment options and builds a customized plan, which can be automatically rebalanced every three, six, or 12 months.

Putnam manages $241 billion of assets for 14 million individuals and 2,500 institutional clients. It has offices in Boston, London, and Tokyo.
