Raymond James Hooks $110 Million Advisor from Wells Fargo

Raymond James has lured a $110 million Pennsylvania advisor away from Wells Fargo.

Keith Morris, managing director of Conshohocken, Pa.-based Morris Capital Management Group, has joined up with Raymond James Financial Services, the firm’s independent broker-dealer.

Morris managed more than $110 million in client assets at Wells Fargo and had annual fees and commissions of more than $1 million. In in a press release announcing the move, he cited Raymond James’ “advisor friendly” culture and technology capabilities as primary reasons for joining the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firm.

Morris began his career in 1994 at Prudential Securities, later joining Legg Mason and Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. He founded Morris Capital Management Group in 2011.

Denise Bucci, registered client services manager, will join Morris at Raymond James.
