Existing RBC employees now based out of the new Raleigh, N.C. office include Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor Robert McCarthy; Vice President and Financial Advisor Drew Getman; Associate Vice President and Financial Advisor Cheryl Sova; Investment Associate Valerie Propp; and Client Associates Caroline Hammersley and Linda DeMichele.

The new Raleigh, N.C., office opened for business on Feb. 27, according to Nick Murphy, branch director at RBC Wealth Management. It is located at 4208 Six Forks Road in the North Hills area of the city. The new office is aimed at growing RBC’s already established presence in the area, Murphy said, which will likely also include new hires to help serve the firm’s clients.

“Raleigh remains an important part of RBC wealth management’s growth strategy,” Murphy said. “We have noticed that our firm seems to be attracting talented people from other firms…[With] the establishment of this branch, we’ve seen some of this engagement occur and will continue to occur.”
