RBC Unit Adds Load Versions to 10 Funds

RBC Asset Management Inc. has expanded its RBC Funds to include load versions of 10 existing portfolios.

The funds are now available with no-load and fee-based pricing options . Jonathan Hartman, a vice president at the Toronto asset management unit of RBC Financial Group, said the load versions were added because of interest from investors.

To its Advisor Series of funds, the company added a U.S. equity fund, eight global equity funds and a balanced fund.

RBC Asset Management has $43 billion of assets under management. Its long-term assets within the advisory channel have grown 7% in the past 18 months.
