Record-Keeper Targets Spanish Speaking Plan Participants

In effort to simplify the complexities of retirement planning for the growing Hispanic-American population, Ingham Group of Miami announced today that it has added interactive Spanish-language capabilities to its Web site.

Ingham Group provides record-keeping services for firms holding over $500 million in assets. Its three largest clients include Fidelity, American Century and Frank Russell Company.

"By allowing our plan participants and sponsors to interact with our Web site in Spanish, we are building on the user-friendly, self-service approach our clients want for their employees while simultaneously reducing the burden on the human resource staff," said Kenneth Ingham, president and CEO of Ingham Group.

According to Ingham, this is the first U.S. company Web site to offer 24-hour Internet access to retirement plan account information and electronic trading in Spanish.

Spanish speaking participants in defined contribution plans administered by the firm can view their account summary, balance and vested interest; change their investment allocation; rebalance their existing assets; or model a loan. Education and retirement planning tools are also available on the Spanish-language web site.
