Advisors With $100M AUM Leave UBS For Raymond James

Raymond James has lured 2 advisors with $100 million in client assets away from UBS.

Gary Vescio and Brandon Levine of Sound Wealth Management will be joining the regional broker-dealer's Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., office.

Sound Wealth Management managed approximately $100 million in client assets and generated fees and commissions of more than $1.4 million while at UBS, according to a statement released by Raymond James.

Senior member Vescio will serve as managing director of investments. He has 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, according to FINRA records. Prior to his six years at UBS, he spent five years at Wachovia. Levine, senior investment and portfolio specialist, has six years of experience. He began working with UBS in 2007 after two years at Merrill Lynch. He will serve a dual role as both a financial advisor and co-portfolio manager for Sound Wealth.

The team will be joined by Linda Ihnen, a registered client service associate with more than 30 years of experience.

Raymond James had already plucked another advisor team from UBS earlier this month. The regional broker-dealer reeled in a UBS advisor team managing over $575 million in client assets on July 10.
